What to expect in a treatment
During the intake your practitioner will ask you about your concerns and goals for your treatment. They will then ask targeted questions to help determine what other internal imbalances you might have. In traditional Chinese medicine facial analysis is used to determine internal imbalances. For example, frown lines between your eyebrows point towards an imbalance with liver energy, dark circles under your eyes can lead us to ask questions to determine the health of your kidney energy. Beauty is the exterior manifestation of interior health, you never look your best when you are feeling unwell. The key to facial rejuvenation acupuncture is to focus on your overall health and beauty will follow closely behind.
Once your TCM pattern has been determined and specific acu points have been chosen for your treatment, very fine needles will be inserted into points on your body as well as your face. Needles will also be placed in fine lines and wrinkles causing a natural production of collagen which creates a softening of lines and wrinkles.
After resting with the needles for 30 minutes your acupuncturist will remove the needles and perform a brief facial massage and guasha using a jade tool. Acupuncture facial gua sha is a simple and gentle massage technique that increases the circulation and lymphatic flow in your face. The guasha tool allows us to get deeper into the fascia than by massaging with fingers alone. Cosmetic acupuncture leaves you looking and feeling your best.
How many treatments are needed?
Visible results can be seen after the first treatment. Dramatic and long lasting changes generally occur with a series of 10-12 sessions. We recommend beginning with acupuncture facial treatments 1-2 times a week.
Pricing:
Facial Acupuncture Session: $185
Duration 45 minutes but allow for one hour. After your consultation you will be given a treatment plan with a recommendation of how often you should come in for treatment based on your treatment goals and your specific condition.

Micro-Needling
Microneedling is the process of rapidly puncturing the skin with very thin and tiny needles (hence the name micro-needling). This creates micro lesions that cause the body to heal the skin naturally; therefore promoting an even healthy skin tone/texture, boosting elasticity, and collagen production.
This process is minimally invasive with no down time, and has no thermal damage that can be experienced with other methods. With several treatments, natural and long term effects can be achieved.
Microneedling is good for uneven skin tone (acne scars, enlarged pores, sun damage, stretch marks), anti-aging treatment for fine lines (crow’s feet, lip lines, forehead lines, etc.), or general rejuvenation to tighten and lift skin through boosting elasticity and collagen.

Microneedling Collagen Induction: $375 75 minutes
Uses an oscillating needle device that penetrates past the epidermis (top layer of skin) down to the cellular level of the dermis. By activating this level, we are able to stimulate the fibroblasts, which are cells that produce collagen and elastin. Which helps firms skin by reinforcing your own production of collagen.
We combine our microneedling with Celluma Pro LED red light therapy and constitutional balancing acupuncture for helping your body heal from the inside out, while stimulating fibroblasts to produce collagen. Great for toning the skin, reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots. These sessions use a Chinese Medicine facial serum tailored to you and your diagnosis, including hyaluronic acid AND apple stem cell collagen. Nanoneedling Skin Brightening: $185 60 minutes
Uses the same oscillating needle device as the microneedling, however, the treatment is done at a lighter depth with smaller needles. This helps penetrate the upper layer of skin for brighter skin tone and clearer pores, and allows the penetration of the collagen supplement used on the skin during treatment. Unlike microneedling, there is less downtime to healing, so you can do this treatment safely every week, instead of needing to wait 4 weeks between treatments.
